ReachDetroit Vision Day in Detroit, MI

You are invited to a Reach Detroit Vision Day on Thursday, December 1st from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This Vision Day will be hosted by Mike Hanafee, lead pastor of Restore Church, an EFCA church plant located in Detroit, Michigan.

Reach Detroit Partnership

Reach Detroit is born out of a vision to see the mission of the EFCA realized in the city of Detroit. Detroit has the highest murder rate in the United States. Roughly one out of three people live in poverty. Each night there are 18,000 people that are homeless. Detroit has a great need for the gospel.

Imagine starting new churches to reach Detroit with the Gospel. Imagine seeing lives transformed because of the power of the gospel. Imagine seeing communities renewed because of the church's impact. Imagine what would happen if the Church stood in the gap to reach Detroit with the hope of the gospel, the power of the resurrection, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Midland Free

Midland Free in Midland, Michigan is our lead EFCA church in this partnership. They have made a five year commitment as a partner to catalyze the advancement of church planting in and around Detroit. Will you consider joining them in this partnership?

Restore Church

Mike Hanafee is planting Restore Church in Detroit. Mike has a vision for multiplication and we are praying together that as the partnership expands we will be able to identify a church planting resident who would be trained by Mike at Restore Church and then plant out from Restore Church into another neighborhood in Detroit. Our desire is that this heightened focus on multiplication will lead to many Gospel centered, EFCA churches in the Detroit area to reach people with the Gospel message.
